After working for twenty years, Heera retired in June 2014 from her school teaching career. Worked as a Teacher of  Fifth Grade/Third Grade/Writing Resource Teacher for Grades 1-6 in Elk Grove Unified and served as a positive role model for the last twenty years. Advocate of communal harmony and diversity.
